Abdul Qadir- France

Algerian by birth, Abdul Qadir works in an IT company in France. He found Ahmadiyyat, the true Islam, through the great writings of the Promised Messiahas and the scholarly tafseer (commentary) of Hazrat Musleh Maud (ra).

This is his story (in brief):

“I have been non-Ahmadi all my life until very recently. My wife’s uncle is Ahmadi, and being close to the family I would spend a lot of time with him. His morals, actions and ways of public dealing always impressed me and I had huge regard for him which is partly what drew me to Ahmadiyyat…”

“We would have long discussions about Ahmadiyyat but I never paid it any attention. One day, my wife’s uncle gave me a book named “Philosophy of the teachings of Islam, by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as). This book stunned me. It highlighted the beauties of Islam in such a unique manner, no (true) Muslim could disapprove of it!…”

“After this I started reading Promised Messiah (as)’s commentary of Surah Al Fatiha, so much of my confusion was removed and my mind was being rejuvenated…”

Hadhrat Mirza Bashir-ud-Din Mahmood Ahmad (ra)
Al-Musleh-Mauood, Khalifatul Masih II

“What topped it off was reading the commentary of Surah Al-Kahf on alislam.org; I was familiar with the hadith which mentions that memorising the first 10 and last 10 verses of the Holy Quran would protect one from the Dajjal but I couldn’t figure out how and why this was possible. So, when I read this tafseer  (commentary) by Khalifatul Masih 2nd my mind was clear. I thought to my self, ‘I have to do Bai’at now!’ Reading these books were enough for me and I didn’t need anything else…”

We asked him why he came to Jalsa Salana and about his experience so far; with tears in his eyes he told us:

“I wanted to get closer to the Khalifa, to be near him and to read prayers behind him.  Spiritually, Jalsa has been very beneficial. When I read my first salat behind Huzur I suddenly burst into tears and cried continuously, there was a sensation coming from my heart that I cannot explain. I had never cried so much in Salat before this…”

It is of note to reflect that the tafseer of Hazrat Masih Maud (as) bought back the true meanings of the Quran which had disappeared for centuries. Hazrat Musleh Maud (ra) was then personally taught the tafseer of the Quran by God himself.

You too can enter a whole new world by reading Tafseer-e-Kabir and Tafseer-e-Saghir which are in Urdu, or the five volume commentary in English. Reading these has caused people to realize and people to accept the true faith; Ahmadiyyat.
