From Democracy To Extremism In 1974 the fundamental rights of an entire community were violated by a parliament. The constitution of Pakistan was amended to redefine the religious status of Ahmadi Muslims by declaring them non-Muslims. Was this act just and Islamic by the legislators of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan? Or was it in total defiance of the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)? This programme will examine in depth.
