Liqaa Ma’al Arab 39 Huzur is carrying on from the last session and is speaking of the conditions for Ahmadis in Pakistan. Huzur says that in Pakistan Ahmadis can be charged with so many crimes, for example the declaration of the Kalima, and belief in the Holy Qur’an. In Pakistan there are groups who go into the homes of Ahmadis and they take all of there things and throw them outside. They take the Holy Qur’an and they say that if it has been published by Ahmadis then it doesn’t mean anything to them, also the Ahmadis are beaten up and left for dead. Many Ahmadis survived the attack and they returned to the same town and said that they can not be chased away. There is an Ahmadi brother named Nasir Ahmad Sahib who celebrated the marriage of his daughter, on the invitation fro his daughters wedding he used Islamic terminology, for example Insha’allah. These are the crimes for which Nasir Ahmad Sahib faced many trials, only recently Nasir Ahmad Sahib was re imprisoned for four years hard labour, and was issued a fine of one thousand rupees. Huzur says that it is a strange logic to think that Assalamo Alaikum is limited to only Muslims, also to say in the name of Allah, the Most Gracious and Ever merciful. Both are for all of mankind. Huzur says that what happens in Pakistan is a sign of Allah’s disgust with them, so many bad things happen but they don’t care. Huzur tells that at one time a Muslim warrior managed to get a hold of an enemy but just before he was about to kill him the enemy declared the Kalima. The warrior did not believe him and said I can see you are only reciting this because you are about to die, and so the Muslim killed the enemy. The Muslim then told the Holy Prophet(saw) what had happened, the Muslim said that never before had he seen the Holy Prophet(saw) so angry. The Holy Prophet(saw) was upset that a Muslim had killed another Muslim, the Holy Prophet(saw) asked the Muslim that what would be his answer when the dead mans Kalima will stand witness against your own.
